The Role of Research Methods In Getting to Know A Girl

Did you know getting to know a girl is just like doing your final year Project Work or what some refer to as Dissertation or Thesis? You go through it naturally without thought.

Probably you've not given it a thought but that's what it is. So lemme take you through the process of applying Research Methods in getting to know a girl.

In this paper, I'm going to be explaining using a Research Report format on how to go about it.

Chapter 1: The Problem and its Background

This is the first step. You need to identify the problem, which is, you not being able to let her go. You can't afford to lose her, at least you must befriend her.

You should have your objectives and very good ones not the gala objectives or hit-and-run types. They should be geared towards marriage.

You must also justify why she should accept you as friend and state what she should expect from being your friend.

Chapter 2: Literature Review

This chapter of getting to know a girl is very important. You tend to ask other people who may know her relevant questions. If for instance you've fallen for her, you may be interested in if she's in a relationship, how many guys she's dated, yeah 'them things some'.

The importance of Literature review is it gives you an understanding of the problem at hand which in this case is the girl you want to befriend. It helps you know what others think about her and gives you a firm grasp of the issue at hand.

Mind you, with this type of literature review, you don't cite or reference your source. You can try it if you want the project to be terminated halfway.

Chapter 3: Methodology

It's the steps taken in conducting a research - the process of collecting data and information to make an informed decision.

So at this stage, your sample is the girl. Your study area is where you guys interact whether social media or rendez-vous. The difficult part of this research is the Data Collection technique.

You should know whether to use Interviews or Observation because it's a qualitative research. Since it's just her, you use both the Observation and Interview Methods but blend its types -  structured, semi-structured and unstructured, in order to have a flowing conversation.

Chapter 4: Data Analysis and Interpretation

After your convo with her, you tend to gather the relevant data. Then you begin to process the data you have through thinking and analysis.

You then form your judgement about her, whether she's the one or like the others. That's interpretation.

Chapter 5: Results Presentation, Discussions, Recommendations and Conclusions

At this moment, boys-boys, best friends, siblings or anyone you are close to comes in. You tell them what you think about the girl and then you discuss her around a bowl of fufu or a table of pizza.

The boys will give you recommendations on how to handle her type and how you shouldn't 'lose guard' especially if you're interested in her.

At this juncture, when you're done with them and you go into your closet, you make your conclusion and have the courage to tell her how you feel.

Just like in Academia, no problem is completely solved and since you're dealing with a woman, you will end up repeating Chapter 2, 4 and 5 as long as you want to understand her.

But take this from me, for the sake of security and peacefulness, never try to understand them. A woman is like the Trinity - never meant to be understood.
