How Demonstrations Never Materialise In UCC

So KNUST students say they've had it to their neck and enough is enough. What was supposed to be a peaceful demo has become an unrest.

With all the media attention and endorsement from certain quarters, some people are wondering when it will also happen in their school.

Ah well, if you're in UCC (University of Cape Coast) and you are wondering when you'd also go for a demo, I'll just advise that you forget about it and look forward to completing school.

Why? They never work and this is how demonstrations flop in UCC - the students' side and the lecturers' side.

Students' Side:
SRC or Local NUGS will issue a press statement to announce the demonstration a week before the d-day with assurances of item 13.

Announcements will be made with constant reminders on WhatsApp groups and even at religious gatherings.

Boys and girls will be heated for that day.

Then boom💥💥💥💥...... The d-day arrives.

Those who have come in their numbers have their books with them.

The demonstration starts - mostly it's a march. Meanwhile they'd be looking at their time.

While the demo is ongoing, one or two people will leave with the excuse "Chale I get class, I go join you after. Just update me."

Like this saaaaaa by the time they get to the Administration block to present their petition, the petition serf will have also gone for lectures.

Lecturers' Side:

UCC lecturers......staaaap. They're immune to threats.

Who are you to say you won't write the quiz?

Anyway, the day UCC students plan on embarking on a demonstration they should consult their siblings from KNUST na UCCfoɔ deɛ ɛnkyɛ na rustication apae.
