Dear UTAG,

On behalf of all student bodies, we the executives of National Non-Serious Students Association
(NaNoSSA) like to extend our deepest gratitude towards your executives for the prolonged vacation given us.

We know it was hard arriving at this situation but by God's grace you got there and we can not hide our joy. This is victory for us as a students' group. Insha Allah, our efforts were not in vain.

We were very concerned as we had countless nights of unrest as students all over called on us to remind you off your annual strike action. Several meetings with SRC executives from all tertiary institutions led us to embark on a one week prayers and fasting session with a revival which was to climax this Holy Week.

Our God who never faileth his faithful servants did not let us down and just in the middle of the week he has shown how powerful he is. We know your demand is real and you deserve them much more than the ministers do. In this economy where everything is appreciating while salaries depreciate, it is only good to take such exercises to drain money from the right source.

Dear UTAGians,  we know you might be insulting us but we are not happy because the strike has finally come but because it has given most of us more time to work and make money for school and personal care.

Just imagine every student buying your handouts and passing your tests and your accounts being filled with handout monies. Isn't it the joy of every lecturer to see students pass his or her tests?

We promise to make effective use of this extended vacation. We also promise to buy all handouts, take all I.As and Quizzes seriously, be punctual at lectures and always sit at the front rows when we resume. We would also stop demanding for extra marks and postponement of quizzes.

Messieurs and Mesdames, we got more important things to do than writing this letter. We just wanted to wish you the very best in this festive season of strikes. Hope you enjoy the vacation much like we do and kindly take all your allowances  before you resume duty cos we won't tolerate any strike in the course of the semester.

We are with you in spirit and would do all we can to keep you striking. Till we meet again, which we hope would be somewhere in October, it's been your favorite students in times of strike saying Happy Indefinite Strike Season.

Signed,
Nii Bavard
General Secretary
(NaNoSSA)
